Feature & Follow #12: First Books I Read

Happy Friday!

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It is where we, book bloggers, can meet new people and gain followers as well!

This week's question is suggested by Bookish Findings.

What is the first book you remember reading?

I'm not too sure. Excluding fairy tales and children's encyclopedia/educational books I've read when I was very young, I think my first "long"reads were Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The children's edition of course. Haha!

The first few novels I remember reading were Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, those of Nicholas Sparks' and some of Paulo Coelho's. :)

What about you folks? :)

  4. Robin Hood's and King Arthur's stories were two of my favourites stories growing up too -- but this is my first memory of reading: http://editingeverything.com/blog/2015/07/03/follow-and-feature-friday-9-your-very-first-book/ (New bloglovin' follower)

  6. Great choices. I read my first Harry Potter book when I was 12, but I didn’t read Frankenstein until college.

  7. It's cool that there are bloggers young enough that Harry Potter would be one of their first reads!! Awesome :)

  14. I'm pretty sure I read the child's version of Frankenstein, but I really want to read the adult version. Every time I think about Frankenstein I think of the Alvin and the Chipmunks animated Halloween movie that has Frankenstein in it.

I think my earliest read was a Winnie-the-Pooh book :)

  15. I fell in love with the King Arthur tales as a child, too. I remember reading an abridged version. As for Harry Potter, I was already an adult when I began reading the series. I LOVE them both!!

Thanks for sharing! Hope you'll come check out my FF post, @ A Night's Dream of Books! : )
