Feature & Follow #14: Advanced Reader Copy

Happy Friday!

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It is where we, book bloggers, can meet new people and gain followers as well!

This week's question is suggested by Words I Write Crazy.

If you could get an advanced reader copy (ARC) of any book, already published, or not yet, what would it be?

Hmmm... I think I'd like to have an ARC of The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Though, I haven't read the book yet, I really admire C.S. Lewis, and I want to collect his works.

Also, I'd like to have an ARC of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, because why not? Haha! HP was a big part of my childhood, so it'll be really nice to have an ARC of even just one book in the series, if not all of them. :)

What about you folks?

  4. Oh I love that you chose Harry! Can you imagine getting an aRC at the height of it's popularity? OHHH, JKR's next mystery at Robert Gailbraith is one I'd like -- I have to add that to mine: http://editingeverything.com/blog/2015/07/31/feature-and-follow-friday-12/ Old bloglovin follower

  6. I've never read the Chronicles of Narnia either, but I've seen the movies and absolutely loved them and thank them for being apart of my childhood. And I agree with Harry Potter! It's funny because I didn't start reading HP until I was 16 so technically-speaking, it wasn't apart of my "childhood" but any time I reread any of the books or rewatch any of the movies, it reminds me of my childhood anyway. That's the beauty of Harry Potter! So I understand why you'd want an ARC of it! New Follower!

    1. I've read the first book when I was 12 or 13. Not really childhood, but close. Haha! Thanks for stopping by! :)

  11. Yeah, those are TERRIFIC choices!! I have two copies of "The Chronicles of Narnia" -- a paperback edition, which contains all the novels, and a deluxe B&N hardcover edition, which also contains all the novels.

As for HP, I own all the U.S. hardcovers, plus the paperback edition with the new covers. I sure would like to own the original UK hardcovers as well, though!! : )

Hope you're having a nice Sunday! New GFC and Google + follower. : )
