News: The 36th Manila International Book Fair

Hi folks!

Manila International Book Fair, the largest book fair in the Philippines, will be on the 16th to 20th of September! My first Manila International Book Fair (or MIBF) experience was in 2010, I think. And since then, I've been a regular of this event.

In MIBF, local publishers and authors, as well as bookstores, gather up to offer readers and book lovers a great bookish experience. Plus, there will be discounts and sales, so it'll be a nice time to buy the books one has been eyeing for a while. :)

There will also be book signing events, quizzes, workshops, seminars and talks for readers, students and professionals to attend to. For more information, visit the Manila International Book Fair website. List of exhibitors is also posted there. :)

I have yet to finalize my to-buy list for the MIBF. I need to stick to my most wanted books and budget. And folks, the struggle is real in culling. Haha!

Currently, I'm thinking of buying Throne of Glass, Cinder, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and The Knife of Never Letting Go. But I don't know. It might change. Haha!

I hope I can document the event properly, so I can show non-Philippine residents what MIBF is like. :)

That's all folks! Have a nice day!

    2. Oh, Wednesday.. Are you going to come 1 day only? I don't have anyone to go with so I'm not sure yet.. Maybe Saturday? Not really sure :/

    3. Wednesday and Sunday, hopefully. I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend on Saturday. If I will, probably in the afternoon. :)

  2. Wow, there are so many reading enthusiasts in the Philippines, I am surprised your islands don't sink under all the books!
Have fun, Miss Macaldo, I look forward to your documentation of the book fair event.
    Cheers!
    Happy Reading!
